We thank you from the bottom of our hearts! below is a screen shot from Team-T-Money just giving page, please get on board and help these great lads to achieve their goals, we wish you all great success lads!
In June 2015 our great friend, Chris Tansey died suddenly of a heart attack. Chris was extremely fit and took care of his diet. His loss has left his family devastated as are all of his friends. In memory of Chris 4 of his closest friends Jordan Drury, Sean edmundson, Jay Pardoe and Mark Edwards will be undertaking a physical challenge again this year called the Snowdonia charity challenge which they all took part in with Chris in 2014 and knowing how much they all enjoyed it, especially Chris It has been and will be something that will be part of there lives forever now in the name of their best mate Chris Tansey (TeamTmoney)
This year we will be undertaking another physical challenge again in Snowdonia.
This involves ‘Kicking off from the event base in Llanberis in the heart of Snowdonia, with a 20-mile cycle (mostly up hill) 🙁 along gorgeous country roads, then we’ll swap our bikes for boots at the foot of Snowdon to trek the tallest mountain in England and Wales.
After a few happy snaps and some spectacular panoramas at the top, it’s back down to our bikes at the bottom.
Once at Snowdon’s foot, we can revive our energy with some refreshments, before getting back into our cycling gear and into the saddle for a 10-mile stretch to the shore of Llyn Gwynant.
Here, we meet our Canadian canoes and conquer a course on the lake. There’s no need for canoeing experience or equipment, as we are provided with everything we need, including experienced canoeing guides ready to help us out at the drop of a paddle.
Back on land, it’s time for our triumphant 10-mile pedal to the finish line (mostly down hill) 🙂
“It is a Fantastic charity event! An awesome race with great spirit and organisation. All the money raised will be donated to the Vital signs Heart Foundation (VSF). This charity provides heart screening tests for young people between the ages of 16 and 35 . This charity has identified a number of young people who potentially had a life threatening condition which would not have been shown had tests not been performed so it’s a really worthwhile cause and an honour to Chris. We know Chris will be proud of us and cheering us on. He is with us all the time. Thank you for your donations. Every penny raised goes directly to saving lives. Thanks again.
