Thank you to everyone who went along and donated money to take part in one of their excellent Yoga classes
VSF want to say a huge thank you to Kate and the rest of the gang at Absolute Yoga in Crosby for holding their annual fundraiser in memory of Chris Tansey and to raise funds for our charity. The event was held on Sunday 2nd June 2019, two days before the fourth anniversary of Chris’ death.
This is the fourth year that Kate and the guys have ran a donation based day of yoga classes and yet again, it was hugely supported! The fantastic sum of £700 was raised! In total, including monies raised over the last four years, £2200 has been raised by the generous staff and members! That pays for at least 75 people to be heart screened! What a difference these guys are making to the lives, families and friends, of young people in their community. They should all be so proud of what they have achieved. We really cannot thank them all enough for choosing our charity to donate their funds to.
Donations like this are the lifeblood of our charity and allow us to continue the great work we do in screening young people aged 16 to 35 for undiagnosed heart conditions. We really are making a difference at every screening day we hold – read the results on our website!
