The annual VSF Charity Golf Day, sponsored this year by i-paye, proved to be a phenomenal success in every way - thank you to everyone who attended!
On Friday 16th June 2017 Hillside Golf Club hosted the 2nd Annual Charity Golf Day in support of the Vital Signs Foundation (VSF).
In total 92 players (23 teams) competed for 3 main team prizes – Mens, Ladies and Mixed.
The day started briskly with the wind and the course presenting the golfers with a real challenge. Tight and hard fairways, together with punishingly deep rough and rapid greens brought even the most talented and experienced golfers to their knees at times! No wonder Hillside Golf Club is the Final Open Qualifying course for this year’s Open Golf Championship!
After the golf, everyone was entertained by the magic and slight of hand magician Dave Burgess along with our keenly contested 5 hole putting competition, once again, on the lightening fast HGC putting green.
Our evening entertainment was once again delivered by the hilarious and talented Jed Stone.
The auction prizes at this year’s event were unique and keenly bid upon, making our fundraising evening a huge success.
The Trustees would like to thank everybody who attended the event and also our volunteers who were amazing by giving their valuable time to us so graciously.
It is our immense pleasure to announce that we raised in excess of £10,000 and that figure is directly down to you, the people who attended our day and supported our evening.
