The VSF have been bowled over by the amazing fundraising of Johanna Flynn and Jake Steers
In memory of their great friend Chris Tansey, Johanna Flynn and her boyfriend Jake Steers held a charity golf tournament on Saturday 5th September at Kirkby Golf course.
A great day was had by everyone who attended, even if the golf wasn’t very good!
Prizes were given at The Pioneer in Crosby where a trophy was given to the winning team as well as gold medals. Medals were given to second and third placed teams as well. Prizes were given for closest to the pin and longest drive. They held a raffle with an amazing amount of prizes due to the generosity of so many people donating items.
Thanks to Johanna and Jake, everyone who played golf, everyone who went to The Pioneer later and all those fantastic people who donated raffle prizes the phenomenal sum of £2226 was raised for our charity! This is a fantastic achievement and one they should all be very proud of.
