Thank you to everyone who contributed to our "Pound on the Bill" campaign during February Heart Month
February is National Heart Month and to raise vital funds we asked three of our local restaurants to get behind our “Pound on the Bill” campaign – very simply, an extra £1 is added to the bill and goes direct to our charity.
Auberge Brasserie on Seabank Road, Bistrot Verite in Birkdale and The Office Bar & Restaurant on Hoghton Street all took up the campaign and thanks to many generous customers they managed to raise £1400 between them – what a fantastic achievement!
Everyone at VSF would like to thank Russell, Michaela & Mark, Chris & Lee for supporting our charity and raising such a huge sum of money – we completely rely upon donations to be able to carry out our FREE heart screening days for young people aged 15-35 and really couldn’t do it without kind people like them and all their customers.
