A Paymentshield update – aren’t they doing well!

Paymentshield - our charity partners for 2017 - are doing an outstanding job of raising money for VSF

It is fair to say that we at VSF have built up a fantastic relationship with such a lot of people at Paymentshield since we were chosen as their Charity of the Year 2017.

I can honestly say that they are all really kind-spirited people who have got behind what we do and why and have set about to raise as much money as they can.  They have also raised it in so many different ways that they really are a lesson in showing how many different ways you can raise money, whilst having fun and enjoying yourself.  Here’s what they have been up to and how much they’ve raised:

April     Charity Car Boot Sale – £150.00

Grand National Sweepstake – £100.00

Easter Raffle – £103.00

Wardrobe Challenge – £143

May      Charity Cake Sale & Merchandise £256.68.  Apparently cake sales always go down well within Paymentshield 🙂

June     Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge  – 7 Paymentshield colleagues battled the wind and rain to cover the Yorkshire 3 Peaks.  The total is yet to be confirmed but is over £600

Book Sale – people within Paymentshield donated books and a stall set up in the Restaurant where the books were sold – £70 + raised so far

The last Friday each month is Dress Down day for their chosen charity and to date this has raised £725.16  – what a great idea!

These events are coming up so get involved where you can and have some fun raising money with them!

7th July –     5-a-side Football –    Ainsdale 3G, Liverpool Road, Southport.    £5.00 per person to take part.    BBQ to help raise funds

13 July              Summer BBQ for Paymentshield Staff – Paymentshield will be donating £5.00 for everyone who attends to VSF

28th July –   Pub Quiz at the Guelder Rose, Southport – see the poster in the gallery and get involved.

Their aim is to have raised £5000 by the end of the year and they are already past half way so watch this space!
