Stacey Fielding has raised more funds in memory of her beloved boyfriend Chris Tansey
Stacey very sadly lost her boyfriend, Chris Tansey, to Sudden Cardiac Arrest in June 2015. Since then she has worked tirelessly to raise funds for the VSF in order that we can host screening days and potentially reduce the number of young people, aged between 15 and 35, who die each week from undiagnosed heart conditions.
For the last few months she has been raising funds by asking people to kindly donate to her Chris Tansey Tribute page on Instagram. Local businesses donated prizes and anyone who donated was in with a chance of winning one of these fantastic prizes. What an amazing job Stacey did of it all as she has raised to date £1285!
It has been said by everyone at VSF on many occasions that Chris Tansey was indeed a very much loved and thought of person as many of his friends and family regularly fundraise for us. I’m sure he is extremely proud of them all.
At VSF we are extremely proud and honoured to have Stacey Fielding as a friend and fundraising partner of ours, as indeed we are of all Chris’ family and friends who raise awareness and funds for us. Together we will continue to strive to provide more FREE heart screenings for young people in an effort to reduce these unnecessary deaths.
