In June this year these great guys are taking on the Ben Nevis Summer Ascent and hoping to raise funds for us in the process.
Jay Pardoe, Shaun Scanlon, Sean Edmondson and Jordan Drury are taking on the Ben Nevis Summer Ascent in June this year in memory of their great friend Chris Tansey – and have very kindly chosen to donate the funds raised to VSF.
Ben Nevis, at 1,344m high, rises from sea level at Loch Linnhe and towers over the town of Fort William. The ascent will take approximately 8 – 10 hrs at a steady pace (the key to progress on a mountain) and follows the main path from the Glen Nevis visitor centre. Not easy if you get great Summer weather but I can only imagine how hard that would be if the weather is not so good.
