Jon Hutchinson's team took on Yorkshire's Tough Mudder at the weekend for VSF
Congratulations to Jon Hutchinson and his team of friends for taking part in Tough Mudder Yorkshire over the weekend in order to raise funds for us. In total they raised a huge £577.50 which is absolutely fantastic!
The team consisted of Jon Hutchinson, Lauren Lucas, Jordan Bodden, Stuart Perrin, Stephanie Ward, Scott Hamilton, Jess Gibson, Katrina and Jonathon Woodcock. They managed to complete all 12 miles of the course and were all really happy with the amount they had raised in memory of their friend James Moorfoot, who sadly passed away suddenly in February this year, aged 28, whilst playing football.
The money raised will go towards providing FREE heart screenings to young people aged 15 to 35 in order to prevent sudden deaths from undiagnosed heart conditions. The service we provide makes a huge difference to the lives of young people and their family and friends so get involved and let’s get FREE heart screenings all over the country!
