Succesful heart screening at Crosby Lakeside Marina
On Saturday 25th June we delivered another Free Heart Screening in memory of Crosby resident, Chris Tansey at the Crosby Lakeside Marina.
A record 105 young people aged between 15 – 35 were screened and 2 were referred back to their GP and the Liverpool Heart & Chest Hospital under the excellent supervision of Consultant Cardiologist Dr Clare Hammond and her Clinical team.
There were lots of Chris’ friends and also local members of the community who attended and we would like to place on record our sincere thanks to Mark and Paula Tansey, their family and also to Chris’ girlfriend, Stacey Fielding who has raised funds for us to deliver another screening in South Liverpool, early 2017.
We would also like to thank Sue Prime for her support and enthusiasm in providing the Marina as the venue – “Thanks Sue”.
